PREMIERE: Field Mouse - You Guys are Gonna Wake Up My Mom
There’s a lot of full-bodied dreampop going around this year (see: M83!), perhaps its the proverbial pendulum swinging back from the lofi garage summer of ‘09. But I digress - you’re going to want to bit into this red meat of a tune. It’s protein-dense and best eaten medium rare, led by the sultry red-wine vocals of Rachel Browne.
This Brooklyn duo-turned-4-piece sent me this song as part of a larger EP work coming out soon. I’m salivating already. Tumblrin’ here.
